Associate Product Manager

Associate Product Manager sought by Astrata, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA and unanticipated locations

Duties: Develop new healthcare technology products, devising new approaches and direction. Implement and support the entire product development lifecycle, including product roadmap, detailed use case development, customer requirements gathering, technical requirement development, quantitative analysis of RO I, and user acceptance testing. Assess input from technical, design and business partners, external experts, customer stakeholders, and champions, as well market and industry trends. Gather requirements and help define the product's business vision and strategy. Develop crisp, detailed business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application. Work with interdisciplinary teams and across functional departments, including engineering, design, marketing and finance teams to carry out strategic plan for assigned product(s) or domain(s). Produce deliverables that tell concise business stories - using data-driven, evidence-based and human-centered arguments. Serve as product owner and collaborate with technical managers to implement Agile development process. Act as a technical resource to customers post-implementation. May supervise 1-2 product analysts. Note: work will be performed at 6425 Penn Avenue, #200, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 and unanticipated locations

Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Information Sciences, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field, plus three (3) years of product analyst, product management, quality analyst or related experience using RUP software development technique for requirement gathering, case creation, quality assurance and testing; analyzing business requirements and implementing new technologies based on findings; generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas; developing systems test plans, test scenarios and manual test cases; tracking metrics and progress related to project implementation and performance; and providing business and subject matter expertise on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, potential problems and alternative design solutions.
